Back in March of this year I was over at a dear friends house – her home oozes soul – a dream home that can’t be bought – only created with love ♥ and life! The kids were running around playing and the grown ups were chatting, the usually scene at a play date, but Oh how the kids played together so nicely, full of freedom and love for each other. I couldn’t resist pulling my camera out and taking a few photos.

I learnt several lessons that day! Being a natural light photographer – shooting indoors can cause headaches but very valuable learning lessons. The photos are a little grainy, however I love the kids in their element, doing what they do best, enjoying life to the fullest. There are boots in the background and things in the way, but it was impromptu and life is like that – things can get in the way! I hope you enjoy this amazing weekend xx ♥ Jody

  • Tam - These pics are lovely; a lovely day and precious moments captured.

♥ Because life is sometimes blissful – this is a time when she was just that. Capturing Sienna last Saturday was a joy, as she ran though the park – I was there to just admire her beauty and energy. I love this little pumpkin XXX Jody

  • Emma Kemp - Gorgeous photos Jody! Sienna is such a beautiful little girl – I don’t know how you get anything done! I would be taking photos ALL day 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Jody - Emma you are very sweet. Thank you for the lovely words <3 XXX JodyReplyCancel

  • Amy - Love the up close portrait. She’s so beautiful and looks like such a happy subject. This really does look like bliss on an autumn eve.ReplyCancel

Today was so lovely…well for me anyway! However wrestling with the EGO of a 4 year old isn’t always plain sailing! Sienna is so willful that she could crack the toughest nut…… However I LOVE her with all my heart and soul – to the moon and back – infinity times infinity!

I love capturing my children in all their glory – As we all know they are perfect, fleetingly perfect little souls that grow and fly away, so I want to remember – the good, the bad and the down right ugly! So grumpy and still so pretty – the pretty ugly in us all. Cheers to being 4 and getting away with it 😉 XXX ♥ Jody

PS after this episode she returned to normal…well till the next one anyway! LOL xx
