This story board tells the tale – an afternoon of pure perfection the only missing element was daddy. XXX The simple things in life are more often than not the best. The aim of our adventure was to find the perfect rock to make rock pets 🙂 Rocks were found, ice-cream was devoured and fun was had by all. Thanks for popping by, Enjoy this splendid day x ♥ x Jody

  • Melissa - Jody, these are amazing & totally gorgeous. The girls, the light, the setting & your talent…wow, what a combination. xReplyCancel

  • Lisa Jay - This is so beautiful. I love how a simple idea like searching for a rock to make a pet can set the scene for a perfect day with children. I really love the last image. That has to go on a canvas on your wall!ReplyCancel

    • Jody - Thanks Lisa for the lovely words. The last one is my favourite too, and featured in my 30 Day Challenge xxx only 3 days to go xx JodyReplyCancel

Sorry it’s a few days late but finally I have days 17 to 20 up. Enjoy and I will have days 21 – 24 up tomorrow xx Yippee! Here in Australia it will be school holidays. I’m very excited to be spending time with my girls and my camera. Hopefully they won’t be sick of both by the end of the next two weeks. 🙂 Be safe, Hug the ones you love. Carpe Diem XXX ♥ Jody

Day 17 – technology

Day 18 – your shoes

Day 19 – something orange (secretly hoping to re-shoot this day as I really don’t love it or feel it is me – I was just lost that day)

Day 20 – bokeh

Days 13 to 16 of the 30 Day challenge have been a blast, although tonight was very tricky – it was my first attempt at a long exposure! I’m luke warm with the result, however the wonderful thing about doing this project is that it forces me to step outside my comfort zone. I love that it is making me look at life, and my surroundings a little differently. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you check back soon xxx ♥ Jody

Day 13 – yourself with 13 things

Day 14 – eyes

Day 15 – silhouette

Day 16 – long exposure

I am half way through a 30 day photographic challenge – I am so in L♥VE with photography and find it inspiring to use my camera everyday – I look forward to the next day like a child waiting for Christmas. I’m hooked – sad but true! I ask myself why I didn’t pursue this passion earlier.

Todays challenge was to shoot a silhouette – I knew I wanted to attempt this shot but timing with not on my side. At 5pm this evening I asked Keira to dance for me as a butterfly? Kids don’t always feel like having their photo taken, especially when one is on a 30 day challenge. LOL. However luck was on my side, as she was super excited to do it. So we headed off to a vacant lot just up the road, and this is the result. My daughter is a natural performer – She started in a cocoon pose and danced – she was in her element and I was there for the ride. Oh how I love this little soul.

Thanks for popping by, tomorrow I will put up days 13 to 16. Hope to see you then XX Enjoy ♥ Jody
