Today is one of those cold, wet, grey days – it leaves me wishing for the warmth of summer’s sun on my face. These photos were taken on just that sort of day – warmth that filled the air, kids running free and playing with pure joy. An afternnon of magic and warm cosy light – perfection – just the type of light I love! I hope you enjoy your day and thank for popping by XXX ♥ Jody

Ps: Isn’t this the sweetest little girl you have just ever seen! She has a heart to match too ♥ !

Today is a very special little girls birthday, a birthday that is celebrated by many people on many continents. A day when mothers hold their children that little bit tighter and give thanks for their wonderful little souls that fill their lives. A day where you remember Ava a little girl called to heaven far to early! ♥

The day I learnt about Ava the Super-Princess I cried, and when I say cried, it was like the sadness that fills your heart and rips it in two, type of cry. The aching I felt for her mother and family, her friends and loved ones, her story had me speechless and sobbing. However learning of Ava also made me give thanks as it lead me on journey of discovering her very talented mother Sheye Rosenmeyer and her wonderful workshops that have inspired me to be a better photographer and a more patient mother. ♥

A huge thank you to the UBER talented Tamarajayne Photography for inviting me to her Tea Party for Ava. Pretty little girls in pretty little dresses, treats galore and love abound. A fitting tribute to a the Super Princess Ava! ♥ May you dance in heaven, forever young! This is my largest post to date and fitting really as she and her mother have changed my life forever. Thank you! Love and light ♥ Jody

Today was the usual busy Saturday, but with a wonderful twist. I had the absolute pleasure to do a shoot for Ava’s Tea Party arranged by the uber talented photographer Tamarajayne (which I will post tomorrow ♥)! Today however was a time for family activities and a mini shoot with Keira. After ballet this morning we purchased some lovely flowers and I made a wreath for her hair, as soon as I arrived home form Ava’s shoot, I popped her in the car and ducked of for our 10 minute mini shoot. She was excited and reluctant – excited to wear the flowers and look in the mirror, not so much for the photos. I had to be quick – one shot mummy …..you’re taking more than one, she said with the tone in her voice of complete frustration 🙂 Oh how I wish I was that clever that I only needed to take one. :). Today, however, I felt blessed beyond belief all day. To have Craig, Keira, Sienna – Oh how my life is so incredibly complete. I hope you are well and thank you for popping by my blog. Feel free to leave a comment and from the bottom of my heart I send you love ♥ cuddle and hold the ones you love, as we don’t have them with us forever! XXX Jody
