Simple and sweet this was an amazing shoot. The location is a slice of heaven on earth – on the family farm, fields of pineapples, lush Australian bush, citrus tress busting with fresh fruit, light to bath in, and love that flowed and filled your heart. (I was told of the odd snake, however lucky for me and them we didn’t see one 🙂 ) The connection and joy in this family is to behold and such a beautiful thing, a real honor to capture. On the drive up to the property I was feeling very excited and it reaffirmed that I am truly doing what my heart loves, after a few hours of fun, oh it flew by it was time to leave and I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your afternoon with me it was such a pleasure ♥ xx Jody

So far September’s challenge is ticking along nicely. I thought I was faltering straight out of the gates as day 2 – Strangers did test me. I didn’t have to confidence to ask a complete stranger if I  could take there picture, I so wanted to. I hd the vision of an aged face full of wisdon and lines with the sparkle that only a life lived fully could put there, but that was not to be. I almost faked it using friends as props, but wanted to thinking a little outside of the square. So below is what I came up with, a day late but alas it’s here, and I’m happy with it. Sienna and I were actually walking home from my shoot for Day 3 – light (my favourite topic) when I snapped this one and the fly. I think the dog was more alarmed by her. Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day XX Jody XX

OK so I’m a few weeks behind on my Grateful project, but I’m still incredibly grateful! LOL xxx ♥ xxx This week goes out to Craig (today happens to be Father’s day in OZ): number one super dad, adored and loved intensely by our 2 wonderful girls. A man that saved me and helped me become a better me. I’m so thankful to have him in my life I couldn’t imagine life without him, to quote a movie ‘ he completes me ‘ – ♥ – Short and sweet – I could go on and on but I want you to come back to see me next post 😉 Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful evening xx Jody

The time has come for another Photo Challenge, and I’m very excited to renew, refocus and stretch myself out of my comfort zone. My last challenge was back in June, click here to have a look back through the last challenge. Today’s subject is: A Street. You know me, I adore light and use it as best I know. This afternoons was just divine wonderful spring light – Oh to bath in it’s beauty.

I will probably post in blocks of 4 days on my blog, however you can see my daily posts over on my facebook page. Drop by and say Hi.

Thank you so much for popping by my blog, I really am blown away by the amount of people that drop by! I love that you come from all over the world to have a sneak peak at my work. For that I’m humbled and very grateful. Feel free to leave a comment. Until next time XX Enjoy XX ♥ Jody
