Jumping for joy and with a few nerves I am putting myself out there to the world – as a photographer. Whilst calling myself a ‘professional’ is not my thing, I make up for it with passion and artistic flair  ♥ My dreams are becoming my reality, and I’m so excited to be stepping out and putting myself out there. So if you or someone you love would like to have a photographic session I am now taking bookings. You can contact me through the blog, website or email me on info@jodyryanphotography.com Thank you for all your support and love over this journey – It’s just the beginning and I’m so happy I could burst. Pop back soon, more exciting post to share! XXX ♥ Jody

It’s finally finished – minus a day. It’s not like me to leave things undone, but I can say with hand on heart that the September challenge was a super challenge. Given school holidays, working on my website (giddy with excitement on that one – stay tuned) and coming down with the flu, I’m just so happy to have it up and completed. Like June’s Challenge there are some photos that I love and adore and some that I could have done better. But with this month marking just one year with my new camera I can say that, in general, I’m very proud of the work I’m doing, and that does take a lot for me to say. Photography for me is about loving an artform, learning to be better at it and growing professionally with it. I thank you for sharing my journey. Feel free to leave a comment (it makes my day when you do!) and please pop back soon. I hope to have the exciting launch of my website this week. XXX Jody

Today we were accidentally locked out of the house and it was all my fault. However it didn’t go to waste. After a stroll around the neighbourhood, picking flowers, making daisy chains, a quick cupcake and a chat to our friendly neighbours we stumbled upon this little piece of magical light coming down our local lane way. I just couldn’t help wanting to capture it, and really these images are Sienna at her best – moody, sweet and such a character! You can’t help but day yes to her !

I’m 2 days behind in my challenge and hope to catch up tomorrow ♥ 🙂 Thanks for popping by and do drop back soon ♥ xxx Jody
