Last weekend was a chance for Craig and I to escape from the kids, the city and to celebrate with friends. It was also a chance for me to take some photos in a new environment, and to relax without the calling of young souls xxx ♥ xxx. I hope you enjoyed your weekend too. Thanks to Aunty Lou, Uncle Brad and Cousin Caitie the girls had lots of fun xxxx I appreciate you taking time to pop by, feel free to leave a comment and I hope to see you back soon X Jodes

WEEK 3 – GOOD HEALTH!

This week is behind, a few weeks behind, tardy but never late! LOL  I am grateful for Good Health!!!! When you have it you can sometimes take it for granted, however as of late we haven’t had a lot of it in our house, so how I treasure it right now. I’m grateful that I was given good health at birth and that I try my best to keep it, I’m also fortunate to be living in a western country with good access to Doctors and medicine, although I tend to use a lot of eastern and alternative medicine as well. I feel so blessed, as I have visited many third world countries where people aren’t as fortunate to have access to good food, water and medicine. Have a lovely weekend, look after yourself and thanks for dropping by. Love Jody x♥x

Just a Little something from a fun photo session I had today with Sienna – Inspiration drawn from Melissa over at Love the halls ♥  drop by her blog and say hi. I hope to see you back here soon. XX Enjoy your weekend XX ♥ Jody

Week 2 – Through her eyes ♥

I am grateful for the love and life of my first born child – Keira! Oh when she came into the world in a hurry (10 days late but still she made a grand entrance) my heart was ripped open and fully exposed for the first time in a long time. She taught me to look through the world again as a child, to be free, to accept love and to let go and to learn to love myself ♥ I am still in awe of how she loves me and believes in me! How in her young eyes what I say is right, true and unwavering. I’m the best thing since sliced bread! Well for now anyway because in the not to distant future, I know that for a time in her life I won’t be cool, I certainly won’t be right, and well I will probably be down right embarrassing. LOL !!! I’m eternally grateful that we were given this perfect little soul to love and that she loves us back!

Well as you can see I’m embarking on a 52 weeks grateful project, each week I will make an entry here on my blog. I would so dearly love to do a 365 project, but will keep that on the to do list for right now! I dislike starting something I can’t finish and right now I know I would be all guns blazing out of the block on a 365 project, only to lose steam at about day 30 LOL! So to commence my 52 weeks below is week 1 :-

Week 1  – Sweet Sienna

♥ She came along and completed out little family of four. In our house the youngest always goes first, so it is only fitting that this wonderful little munchkin be my week one entry ♥

How my heart loves her unconditionally. A love I did not have as a child, but have in spades as a mother. A love that fills my world and makes the sunshine even on the greyest of days. I hope and dream that I can be everything you need to get started on your journey in life, that the foundation and love we give you will keep you close even when you are far. May we dance and play and talk until one must say good bye. My little soul I am grateful that you have filled my heart and life with your laughter and love!
