I am taking a course with the insanely talented Sheye Rosemeyer, I so admire her work, the way she captures the soul and the light, how she seems to get the best out of her clients.I aspire to be this good one day! Until then the above photo is the first one I submitted for my week 1 task. I love this picture for many reasons. X Jody

  • Denise Wilkins - Hi Jody,
I popped in from Sheye’s course. I love that you started a blog just now. Your picture is beautiful. I feel like I am surrounded by loads of professionals. I hope to be able to learn a little in the class. I’m in way over my head but really appreciate see other people and their work. Thanks for sharing.ReplyCancel

    • Jody - Thanks for popping by Denise. Yes the course is stretching me and I love that. Being a mum can be so consuming, it is so refreshing to be challenged by something other than my children 🙂 Hope to C U on the 52 week challenge! X JodyReplyCancel

Well you’ve happened across my photoblog or I’ve begged you to pop by! Either way I’d like to welcome you into my life of photography and sharing one of my passions in life. For a long time I admired the works of other very very talented photographers and for many reasons hesitated to pick up a camera for myself. Now with the support of my loving family and friends I hope to share with you my journey. The ups and the downs of mastering my camera, which by the way is a Nikon D7000 (thanks you to my wonderful hubby for the very generous gift, he is my light, my angel xxx). I look forward to hearing your comments. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again. X Jody

  • Katena Taylor - Hi Jody

  • Pascale Laroche - Hi Jody,
I admire you so much for taking this HUGE step forward and I know how scary it is because I’m right there, just a few steps behind you! Only I haven’t acted on anything yet. I opened an account with wordpress, but haven’t done anything with it yet. I’m just not sure I need it or want it or am ready for it.
But your blog may just be what I need to get going…
Thanks for sharing and keep in touch! I saw your friends request on FB…

    • Jody - I know what you mean Pascale, it’s hard to put yourself out there. But I love that I have, and my focus has become so clear now. C U in the forum and on FB. 🙂 XJodyReplyCancel

  • Pascale Laroche - Oh and I forgot to mention: I laughed when I read your first post…I felt like I could’ve written it myself: My hubby also bought me my D7000, at Xmas. His support is also very important. Guess we have that in common, as well as great friends and family. Boy are we lucky!ReplyCancel

    • Jody - Yes Pascale we are both blessed beyond belief! I hope to one day meet you in person X JodyReplyCancel
