Day Seven

One thing defines our summer holidays 2014 – riding our bikes – the freedom of two wheels

Jody Ryan Photography

Thank you for stopping by, please feel free to leave a message or share my post x jodes

PS yes we know her handle bars are backwards – it helped her when she first got her big bike to shorten the arm gap – they need switching back – also we must do something about that seat. She’s just so comfortable. what to do?

  • Jen - We’re about to take off too Jody and this is what I look forward to as well!ReplyCancel

Day Six

She’s funny, happy, clever, strong willed, helpful, stubborn, not one for sharing easily, but so very caring, extremely loving, careful, thoughtful, so very very beautiful, finds it hard to keep a secret, but she’s perfect!

Thank you for helping me water the garden today my little possum. I adore you XXX

  • Jen - Awww….I love the emotion in this….partly provoked by your words and partly by the way you have captured her <3ReplyCancel

Day 5

I’ve been going to Yamba ever since I met my husband 13 years ago. On our very first trip there I saw this caravan filled with mulch, apparently it’s been there for as long as he can remember, I love it. It marks that we’ve finally arrived after a very long car trip, it’s also every changing in a constant kind of way. The sugar cane grows up around it, and then it’s cut back, sometimes it’s packed to the rafters and sometimes it’s empty. It’s one of those things that gets driven past and possibly missed by many, others will notice it often like I do and in it’s every changing state.

You know how I said our girls get on most of the time – well this is not one of those times. LOL

Thanks for dropping by x Jodes

  • Jen - I could never tell they weren’t getting on! One of the wonders of photography 🙂 xReplyCancel

Day Four

I’m so very thankful for the family we have. Jamie is my husband’s cousin, he lives in Northern NSW on a slice of paradise. Where six generations of his family have lived and farmed, it so feels like our home away from home. So warm and welcoming the kids just light up when we go there. Jamie helped Keira reel in her first fish for the trip – a cat fish – much to her delight the fish went straight back in after this photo. Sienna too caught a catfish and 2 Brim – they all went back in to swim for another day. Mind you she would’ve eaten hers, Keira not so much. Thanks you for stopping by x Jodes

Day Three

My sweet pea is growing up so fast it stuns me sometimes, I cherish these days together, knowing they are not forever. Whilst helping little sis once again master her bike she cheered her on, hung upside down, ran around, rode her bike and generally had fun. We’re off to Yamba so I’ll be posting these late when we get back.

Thank you for stopping by X Jodes

PS you might be wondering why no photos of little sis on her bike – I’ll just say this she yells at me ‘mum go away with that camera’ I may have a sneaky video though.

This is Keira week 1 of my 52 project
