Photo-A-Day  |  Day 1

it’s been a while since I’ve blogged, I guess that’s an understatement. However, I’m back and reinvigorated after a very busy end to 2014. I’m so excited about 2015 I hope it brings great things to everyone.

This is the 2nd year I’m embarking on the photo a day January project, you can see my 2014 gallery here. I’m excited to capture our family as the days whiz by before the new school year ramps up and speeds off into 2015. This project really does bring me joy and cements each day into my memory firmly. Feel free to join in there are some very talented people out there that have inspired me to do this project. If you’re doing it leave a link in my comments and I’ll drop by and say hi.

Thanks for dropping by.   Love and light xxx Jodes

Keira was born on the 9th June, this year was her Golden Birthday, the year your age matches the day you were born. Nine on the 9th, for her I like to think it’s her lucky year. One of many, I’m a hopefully soul! These few photos were taken on the 9th late in the afternoon, she reluctantly gave me 5 minutes. I had to beg and bride, but it was worth it!

I hope you have wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by x Jodes

A little about the movie presentation of #standwithme

After seeing a photo of two enslaved boys in Nepal, Vivienne Harr (a 9 year old girl) is moved to help in the only way she knows how: by setting up her lemonade stand. With the goal of freeing 500 children from a life of slavery, she sets up her stand every day, rain or shine. As Vivienne’s vision begins to show promise for something greater, her community stands with her — and she develops her own Social Purpose Company. In telling Vivienne’s story, #standwithme examines the realities of modern-day slavery, the role we play in it as consumers, and the importance of knowing the story behind what we buy.

BOOK YOUR TICKET TODAY $20 – 7pm to 9pm

Thank you so much and we hope you can join us.
