A few weeks back I had the absolute pleasure of photographing two of the most adorable girls – they were delightful and such a treat to capture! So kind and wonderfully sharing, (insert sigh here – if only my two could absorb some of that! LOL) we spent a few hours being kids – playing, laughing, jumping, having a ball! It was refreshing to capture two little souls so full of life and enthusiasm! Some of you may have read in previous posts that, my girls are a little over me whipping out the camera, so for their sanity and mine I have gained the confidence to capture the joy and love in others 🙂 . Thank you Georgia and Annie for being so delightful and for sharing your afternoon with me. You both have a special place in my heart. It has made me fall deeper in love photography, if that was at all possible!!! Have an amazing day X ♥ X Jody

Currently I’m wrestling with photoshop – but so want to share a snippet of a photo session I did with my girls down @ Main Beach on the Gold Coast last Sunday. It was late in the day – they were busting to get in surf, giving me a brief but productive 10 mins to get a few shots. 🙂 I’m really becoming comfortable with using my camera in manual  and love the control it gives me. Gone are the good old auto and shoot days! Now I just need to be a bit quicker off the mark. I love the light and the way the girls are bathed in it, however I can not wait to tweak it ever so slightly. ♥ x Jody

There’s nothing quite like the relaxed pace of family holiday spent beachside – our last one just wasn’t long enough! On this dreary wet day I reminise of – sea-spray, sunshine, the salty breeze that plays with your hair (well not so much in my hubby’s case), sand, waves – oh glorious waves and most of all the sounds of kids having fun. Music to my ears! These few shots were taken at Turners Beach , as the sun was fading fast xxx To be back there now would be devine xxx ♥ Jody

  • Tina DaSilva - LOVE these shots! So crisp and full of life.

Holidays are a wonderful time for us to stop, spend quality time together and just let the days run away. This Easter break was just that for us – sunshine, smiles, sand, fun, adventure, family, and most of all happiness. Here is a sneak peak at a photo I took down at Maclean NSW ♥ Oh how I love this for so many reasons. An unscripted moment of quiet contemplation. This is not a regulate state for our very busy little girl! I truly hope that you too had a chance to stop and recharge this Easter. I will post some more images soon of our trip away ♥ Jody
